Who would people like to see Manchester tour with on this cycle?

 

it would be cool, since these songs apparently are a bit more reserved, if they brought el obo out. but I doubt they do that. id imagine they want to do big dumb loud rock shows after being cooped up so long.

 

Nobody answered me. Just kept saying the same thing over and over that ManOrch8 made them feel weird.

This thread sucks because y'all have been fucking derailing it for the last day. ManchesterOrch8 has been vagueposting and flexing for occasionally for months and it was never a big issue beyond the eye roll.

 

Upon review, I have determined that I like this thread but I dislike the users of this thread.

When in doubt, I always opt for misanthropy.

everytime i come in here the first posts i see is "insider" info that does nothing for me or people complaining about the insider info. I hate the vague posting about music when y'all do it, when drew does it, or jason, or anyone with leaks or advances. It always turns into "what do you know???" "tell us more!" and "lmao DM me a copy totally kidding btw" type posts. I'm sure it's super cool when y'all have the advances and you can talk amongst yourselves, but for us that are patiently or eagerly waiting for an anticipated album, it just makes the wait that much worse, not better. It's even more annoying when the discussion is about how people aren't enjoing it in here and y'all keep doing it and brushing it off.

 

I can get behind Foxing. Bring along Good Looking Friends as the openers opener

That's very fair. But I will say I've offered to answer anyone's questions they had about the album and would put spoiler tags on it or DM them about it. For legal reasons I couldn't share the actual record. I will also say that nobody has voiced their complaints about not enjoying the thread until yesterday when all of this blew up. The first few months and 100 pages (or 50 for double post count people) were void of that.

 

A Manchester Orchestra + Julien Baker co-headliner would be very cool

 

Bring out Piebald too.


What I wouldn’t give for them to get a resurgence and some reexposure.
