Yeah it's a few years old. I found a mint one on discogs.com for less then $50 so I jumped on it.

 

Those look pretty cool. I'm still moving in so I've got time to figure it out. Looking to get active speakers so I can buy a small phono preamp and have a minimalist setup.

 

I like the minimalist look for sure. I think you'd be happy with the a5's then.

 

Trekked to Princeton yesterday and picked up a sealed, old pressing of John Mayer - Continuum for $19. So stoked about that, every time I've seen it it's in the $30+ range.

Also picked up one of my strongest AOTY candidates, Brian Fallon - Painkillers. Successful trip.

 

Paid $28 to get the Vince Staples EP in 10-12 weeks. Whyyyy.

and was there a repressing of Sam's Town? one not on picture disc? along with those shows The Killers are doing in Vegas?

 

Bong Load Records is doing a Sam's Town repress. Super limited and expensive, though.

$45? jeez, c'mon. it sounds nice but i can't spend that much. at least not on The Killers. Last i spent that much on for one record was the new deluxe Touche Amore album.

 

That reminded me to check on my Amazon pre-order for Hot Fuss. It was supposed to come out this week, but now it's due at the end of September apparently.

 

I don't even care I ordered that Sam's Town Anniversary Pressing. I've been wanting a version just like this for a while now. Plus, the alternate artwork is great
