I love that commentators do not give a fuck about the actual match they’re watching. The “pressure was building” for our goal. About a minute earlier they were talking about how Burnley were control match for the last 10 minutes:crylaugh:

Glad that game is over. Good win. They could have had a handful of reds but Moss was too interested in having a go at Pogba for getting fouled. 3 quite good goals too.

It's definitely a big statement to force a bargaining chip on something or another

    From the club website:

"Who thinks of BVB in the 90s, automatically has the heroes from back then in their neon colored jerseys in front of their eyes. A good 30 years later the players of Borussia Dortmund once again wear a neon yellow jersey on the pitch: In the game against Werder Bremen on Sunday the players play in a unique retro jersey.

The jersey, that will be worn in this game only, will pay tribute to the heroes of the 90s and the era they shaped. The images of BVB legends Michael Zorc, Karl-Heinz Riedle, Lars Ricken, Matthias Sammer, Julio Cesar, Knut Reinhardt, Stephane Chapuisat, Stefan Klos, Jörg Heinrich, Paul Lambert, Flemming Povlsen, Paulo Sousa, Heiko Herrlich and Günter Kutowski are shown on the special jersey behind which is the message “Every era begins with the will of their heroes”.

“The heroes of this era have led BVB from the 80s with the relegation battle into the historically most successful decade of our club history,” says CEO Carsten Cramer and continues, “With this jersey we want to remember our own strength and visualize what is inside of us at the beginning of this extremely challenging decade. "

In the 90s BVB was able to win the UEFA Champions League and two German championships. In this decade the upcoming opponent Werder Bremen was the strongest competitor in the historic duel for the 1995 championship, the first black and yellow championship in decades."

Probably someone local. My nearest league teams are Peterborough and Northampton. My nearest PL/Championship is Leicester. Lived near to Villa for a few years too.

    Probably just become neutral though.

I know I bang on about this a lot, but all the rich foreign owners of clubs are ruining football. Fuck Abramovich, fuck Sheikh Mansour, fuck the Glazers, fuck the Kroenkes, fuck FSM and fuck City Football Group.

I hate what this sport has become, it’s sickening.

  17. And I’m sure Spurs are about to sell to someone like that with the news that ENIC are taking offers.

Obviously no single manager is going to openly criticise the plans, but I wonder if all 6 are considering making a joint statement through the LMA or something. Strength through numbers. They're each going to get asked repeatedly about it otherwise.

Barcelona is supposedly making an announcement tonight. Wonder if they're waiting for the Madrid match to be over.

Sky were saying there's going to be a formal announcement statement at 9:30 tonight, so I imagine the club's will each release something around then.

Seeing a lot of "guess I'm a PSG fan" posts now. And like... I get it in isolation. But let's not pretend that PSG's owners didn't buy UEFA's allegiance and a World Cup that has lead to innumerable deaths during construction.
