As much as I'd like them to tour here one last time after the Biffy tour I kind of want their final UK show to be a huge one off thing like they did at Wembley in 2010 and have a massive lineup again with people like Thrice and Manchester Orchestra.

How has everybody got tickets and whatnot already? I read they're on sale 2nd September. Yet people know the costs and booking fees and have confirmed they're going to numerous dates. What is this sorcery?

I didn't realise I could be so bummed out about Brand New playing the UK. This fucking sucks! Them supporting another band that I'm not into is a bit crap, but 40-50 quid for tickets, when they could then and go announce a headline show around these dates? So, so, so annoying. I love Brand New but that's a 50 quid gamble that I don't know if I'll be taking.. Do not want to see O2 support in an arena either.. Jeez.

Sorry to sound ungrateful! For a band nearing the end, I did not envisage a support slot to Biffy, of all bands.

Why is everybody quoting such high prices? Ticket master says 32-44 pounds? Where did 50 quid come from?!

O2 ticket prices are usually a bit higher and then there'll be extra fees for 'delivery' etc too. TicketWeb charged me two pound to deliver eTickets today..

To be more specific, Ticketmaster says that the O2 show is this for standing:
    £47.30(£40.00 Ticket + £7.30 Fees) + Secure Post - £5.50

So it's actually gonna be £52.80 via TicketMaster..

Ouch. I'm looking at Birmingham seated and it says 32 minimum!

Has anybody actually GOT tickets or are you all just saying you intend to go? A few pre-sales are on from the 31st that are listed on ticketmaster. Otherwise I'm baffled.

It kills me to know that Ben Homola filmed that at my show and was gonna post it, but the hard drive with all his videos went corrupt before he could.

Seriously? I didn't know that, but that sucks. I've tried finding a high quality recording of that for a long time. Wish I had seen a show where Jesse played that with them.

    serious question.

If the hold up was a vinyl issue would you rather them release the record digitally and just have a vinyl delay or wait until they know every thing could be ready on release day? It's unlikely but I wonder if the hold up could be vinyl related, I know bands that have gotten bad presses of records and redone them and it sets them back a few months. I think Copeland had that issue with ixora .. album was supposed to come out Halloween but got pushed back to late November bc they wern't happy with how the vinyl came out... I could be remembering this wrong but I know it happened to some band

Digital release, wait for the vinyl. No question.

    I just want the music.

I thought someone said they were trying to finish up the album before their fall tour. So the hold up is probably that they haven't even finished making the album yet.

Release dat shit. We can wait for the Vinyl. But the band probably wouldn't be into it because they'd lose vinyl sales for sure if the record sucks

They clearly don't mind making us wait for our vinyl orders ;-p

I could see a pre-order vinyl bundle go up that comes with a digital download and then a month or two delay on the vinyl itself.

That's what I see as well.

I'm perfectly fine with that that scenario. I don't need physical day and date of album release, I just want the music in my ears as soon as absolutely possible.

Next Show - Foals April 22nd

Oh yeah, it wouldn't bother me at all. I do like my first listen of highly anticipated albums to be on vinyl but that so rarely happens anymore. If I wouldn't be able to get it on release day then I don't care if it's 2 days, 2 week or 2 months later to be honest.

Or you know just the other single would be nice. Something. Anything.

Procrastinate is really hyping up the KD release on facebook. Kevin is as well. Almost a little too much though. Getting a little annoying to see it everyday in the news feed.
