My husband's employer has the same rule. So dumb. There is ONE cordless landline in their building and half the time they don't know where it is until its ringing. Which is terrifying if someone has even an accident, its a machine shop. I cannot fathom not being able to quickly call for help or not calling home to potentially say goodbye. My now former employer paid us $10/month as a cell phone credit because we were allowed to have them/use them for work.

Seeing stories of people waiting 7 months to get their door fixed on their car is fucking wild. Dude tried to dunk on Toyota's manufacturing process at one point and he still to this day can not produce cars as fast as Toyota can. Him and Tesla saying LiDAR is not needed for autonomous driving is another nuts statement by him in a long list of them.
