It’s making me think that major indie releases have been done and their pressings were kind of “saved” by the fact that they were waiting for post pandemic.

 

Yeah, I've had similar thoughts. Like, a new Wallflowers album got announced last week, and I know for a fact that Butch Walker was working on that thing before the pandemic hit. I wonder if there was a waiting game there for vinyl.

 

Justin Vernon just went live and said she was on the new Big Red Machine album. So.. there's that.

 

This is the least surprising news of all time.

 

I figured she would make a BRM appearance in some capacity but it still feels surreal that somebody of her stature will be on the album. So thrilled to hear the whole thing. The clip was short and distorted but wildly intriguing.

 

Lol I have stumbled across niche pop punk Taylor Swift which is people covering pop punk versions of her songs and I need her to channel rock again at some point because like this version is flawless

I haven’t been able to spend as much time with the proper album but so far it seems like I prefer her performance in the verses from the original recordings and love the chorus/bridges from the TV.
