Oh they were saying I was lucky I won? Honestly didn't think of that at all. Weird, the entire match I felt like rng wasn't working in my favor.

 

Lol when I was heavily into MK11 online in the first year of its release, I would run my mouth both when I was winning and losing and really be absurdly/intentionally dumb with my shit talk. I have probably 30 DM’s either of people either saying I made them laugh and sent a friend request, or absolutely hating my guts and sending me basically the same messages. Always a good laugh.

 

Has anyone played Cyberpunk since all the patches came out? How is it?

Played through the game when it first came out, just not sure if I want to dive back in yet.

 

My reasons for not diving back into CP have less to do with performance and more about how it’s just a very poorly written and designed which culminates in one of the most forgettable games i’ve ever played. Looking back on when reviews first dropped, i’m amazed how highly it scored even with everyone playing the PC version. Even if the game ran perfectly fine at launch you couldn’t pay me enough to score it higher than a 7.

 

EZA I think we’re the only publication I saw who gave it a mid score. Even though everyone else who was playing it said how meh it was. Yet a lot of other publications we’re giving it 8/9’s.

 

If I had been the editor of a major gaming reviews outlet I would've refused to review the game until all versions were available. So irresponsible. But sadly those aren't the kinds of "ethics in games journalism" concerns that get any widespread support from The Gamers. Wonder why?

That's not how that works. Some versions come out months later like PS5 version and such.

Games as a service and stuff get reviewed multiple times, there's no reason why the alternate releases of games shouldn't just get reviewed when they get released. You have every right to review each version as its own thing because that's how it's supposed to be judged.

I was actually going to bump this thread with this if it wasn't already.


I'm about 6 hours into the game and I've encountered almost zero glitches. Seriously. The game has either been fixed a lot more than people have been led to believe or I'm the chosen one

I'll go back to CP once there's confirmation it's working fine and/or it's been upgraded to PS5. I've got a few games coming i can play in the meantime.

I did pick up Outriders and it's looking great. Maybe i'm bad at the game though but the bosses really need a few tries before i get obliterated. I'm playing as Trickster and feel like i'm losing health constantly.

 

I keep seeing all these teaser trailers for a new Alice game. Was it a crowdfunding thing? Either way, I’m excited if it’s going to happen!

 

In the same boat. Some of these boss fights are crazy hard. Guessing they really want you to play multiplayer though.

Man, Inquisition is so good. I love high fantasy RPGs like this. Making me super excited for the next Dragon Age, TES6, Avowed, and Fable. Gimme.

Beat the campaign of Gears 5 finally(put it on beginner and just sailed through). First game I've rolled credits on since Borderlands 3 which I did last year. Then before that think it was Horizon Zero Dawn which was a year or so before that. Knocked out the Hivebusters DLC for Gears as well. Nice, short, sweet standalone, 3 hour little DLC. Gears 5 was good, but dragged on longer than I preferred.

My next goal is to finally go back and finish the last, probably less than 2 hours, on God of War so I can finally put that behind me. Then finish Last of Us 2. Trying out Outriders as well.

I only game in the early morning or after sundown since it's been so pretty out lately. Got to make sure I take advantage of the time outside(run, bike, hike, chores, ect....).

 

Sounds like gaming has turned into a job for you.

Sometimes I feel that way when I'm like 60% done with a game and have lost interest.
