I agree with that.

I do think people are more sensitive in MOBAs than in COD/CS:GO/Madden/Gears of war.

Even playing ranked people would always talk shit and/or do things to irritate others. Gears was nuts haha

 

From a lore perspective both games have good champions. League's champs just "feel" better to play

 

CS:GO is actually the worst community I've played with. Granted, I'm also awful at it, so subject to more targeted insults than I am in other games.

I'm really hyped for Overwatch just because I sunk so many hours into Team Fortress 2 a few years back and it gives me that same feeling

My only fear is that Overwatch will turn into TF2 on consoles and basically be dead in a year with people playing on Xbox One.

 

Oh man Gears encouraged it... sticking grenades to opponents and talking shit. I was obnoxious in my youth.

 

That's my point. People don't seem to complain as much. It is more considered the norm in that world.

Madden competitive is a laugher. I've played guys who would consistently curse me out throughout the game even though I don't wear a mic for console games, so much rage.

 

I basically mute anyone in any game I play. I don't need that shit.

 

NFL Network has like an hour long show dedicated to talking about Madden and how to improve your gameplay.

 

Rocket League community got a bit toxic a few months ago but it seems to have died down

 

The beta is really just queue up and play whoever you're playing against. I think I enjoy the competitive aspect of Multiplayer games, so if there isn't some sort of goal or standard that I'm striving for I feel like it's only fun for a short while. I would actually be really curious to see someone investigate and research what the rise in competitive gaming has done to the mentality of some gamer's in how they play video games. I'm not sure if that made much sense haha.

 

Not sure if I'm gonna get Overwatch on PC or PS4. I rarely play any games on PC anymore.

 

Pretty much exclusively play on my PC unless there are some killer console-exclusives to play (That's been a pretty big disappointment this generation, maybe Uncharted 4, Persona 5, FFXV will change that)

My PS4 and XBONE are glorified streaming machines.

 

I think pound for pound the WoW community is the worst but I still really love that game, despite me cancelling my sub until Legion drops. LOL and CS:Go are close seconds though.

 

I've never had all that big of a problem with the WoW community, don't do a lot of PvP though and all of the realms I've been on were PvE

Guess conflict does tend to crop up within guilds from time to time due to the stress of trying to push forward in a raid.

Same. If only I had a compy that made Witcher 3 look amazing. Maybe I'll build a new one when cyberpunk 2077 comes out.

Everytime some publication (specifically polygon) posts something from Feminist Frequency, the comment sections are horrid.

 

40 minutes till this doom beta for me. Can't wait.

When I get around to getting an Xbone QB will be the first game I get.

 

Can't wait to move back home. My older brother has an X1 he's holding on for me and QB should be a pretty immediate buy. Gears 4 and Cuphead also on that list.
