I would try it, but I can't help but feel that the US has a certain ingredient in their butter that's banned in other countries that makes it taste good and it wouldn't be the same haha

When I next get the chance to visit though, i'm trying it

Popcorn has the potential to fuck me up but I risk it every time. Bring in gummy bears and get a mixed ICEE too. Damn, I miss going to the movies (terrible patrons aside).

I'd like to know which cinemas were still serving Icee slushies before the lockdown. My local cinemas disposed of their machines around the release of Revenge of the Sith.

Popcorn mixed with sno caps

 

The fake butter they put on movie theater popcorn makes me nauseous

 

Yeah, I definitely don’t get butter

 

I never put the artificial butter on the popcorn either. I just eat it as it comes out of the machine.

 

I rarely ever get popcorn at the movies. If I get anything it’s the soft pretzel bites with cheese. Always get a giant coke zero though.

 

Man, I wish we had soft pretzel bites in UK cinemas. We just get shitty hot dogs or a small portion of nachos. Although the small portion of plastic-y nacho cheese is always great.

 

Large popcorn and medium drink for me here normally.

 

When I do get snacks, I pretty much always get a large popcorn and then bring a bottle of water and pouch of peanut M&M's in with me.

 

When I was younger and more of a degenerate I would sneak beer into the theater. One time I snuck some in and ended up being the only one at my showing. 10 minutes into the movie the cop that patrolled the theater at times came in and sat about 5 rows in front of me and watched the entire movie. I couldn’t drink my damn beers.

 

Reese's Pieces and/or Cookie Dough Bites are an important part of the movie theater diet.

 

Ya, usually we'd smuggle in the candy and buy the popcorn. I like bringing in these popcorn seasonings too.

that white cheddar one is so good.

 

This one time when I was younger I had a dentist’s appointment scheduled in the morning to have a wisdom tooth removed. The night before I’d decided to go to the movies with my girlfriend where we loaded up on popcorn and I ate way too much.

The next morning at my procedure the dentist asks if I’d like to have the gas. Since I hadn’t done that since I was a kid, I thought heck why not. About ten minutes in the gas had me feeling absolutely nauseous and I remember yelling out “I’m gonna puke!” so the nurse shoved the trash can next to me which I promptly emptied my insides into. As I was laying there catching my breath, the dentist nonchalantly peers into the trash can and says “Looks like you had a lot of popcorn last night” as I moaned in embarrassment.

 

Sno Caps! Only acceptable to eat in a movie theater haha - damn I miss that candy.

 

There's def a ranch flavor. Also good.
