I always find it so weird that some trans women end up buying into right wing/red pill/MRA/transphobic/homophobic/etc. bullshit. It's infuriating, depressing, and sickening all at once.

And then they get propped up as "the voice" for their group. See Milo, the most prominent gay man in the gaming community who also is, totally coincidentally, vocally homophobic (and racist and transphobic and sexist)

 

I feel like with a lot of minorities, whether gender, sexuality, race, etc. there are those who unfortunately feel that recognizing the social obstacles in place against them makes them weak. So much so that instead of wanting actual equality they just want acceptance under the social norm that works to marginalize them. But the truth is understanding the reality of your existence is the harder route to take as it is confronts these social obstacles.

EDIT: So I guess yeah, she is? Well, regardless of her shitty views, it's absolutely delicious to me that she is undoubtedly making social conservatives who are otherwise willfully ignorant towards and intolerant of minorities totally want to bang her. That is a gift to the world in itself.

yeah she's trans. like i said though she's sadly spouted some bullshit about "people transitioning at the drop of a hat" and recycled that bullshit conservative myth that transitioning leads to higher rates of suicide, it's frustrating because her audience eats it up. it's pretty clear - and, again, sad - given that she had an interview and more than one comment said "my dick is surprisingly aroused" and "trap but i still would" and "blaire is the only hot trans person" and i'm like, how toxic must this shit be to live in?

I can't remember her name but there is one racist blonde girl that goes head to head with people who aren't conservative or have the same beliefs as her. The one I watched she was interviewing Charlamagne the God.

 

I thought that the suicide stat was actual? I mean, it totally makes sense that people who don't conform to typical gender roles and who are marginalized actively by half of the population, and latent-ly by the vast, vast majority of the other half, would have more problems with self esteem.

However, that also would fly in the face of suicide statistics, which are shockingly disparate towards white men. White persons are twice as likely as Latino persons and nearly three times as likely as black persons to commit suicide. And if you narrow it to white men, it becomes even more alarmingly high. I've been meaning to keep an eye on studies about that, but haven't.

I don't know much about how the govt works. Laws here go through a lot of channels and it's a slow process. Is the French govt way different?
