I worked at Fearless as an intern when Eye Alaska was part of the label, they didn't sell well and didn't get much of an audience but I was 100% the person who was the biggest fan at the company haha.

 

Because they did!

 

Some of the previous posts got me on a huge late 00s / early 10s kick and it made me recall a beloved post-hardcore-something band: Kidcrash.

Does anyone remember their kickstarter for a new album? At this point, they're beating records with how long it has been since the project started (~ a decade).

I definitely need to! I love love love Ideas Above Our Station, but that's the only HR album I've heard. Speaking of IAOS, you wouldn't happen to have or know where to find MP3s of this would you?

 

God no I wish. I had a few of those b-sides back in the day but they're long lost. Shame, I remember there being some great songs there.

You’re right. This album totally rules. It really doesn’t sound much different than Ideas. Sounds like they could have been recorded at the same time. Lovin it.

They are all songs that were written back during On The Strength of All Convinced, but didn't make it to the record. Jason worked with over 100 people to get this EP put together and each song features artists from Sherwood, Rome Hero Foxes, Yvette Young, SayWeCanFly and more.

 

I’ll always hold a special place in my heart and life for As Tall As Lions. On top of just being really fucking good the self titled found me at a very bizarre time in my life and that album captured some amazing moments so perfectly. One of those rare, very unique things where an album hits and connects all at the perfect time that you can’t plan for. Miss that band.

 

I hope Republic of Wolves isn’t gone and can stay off this list. All quiet there though.
