Sweet baby Jesus please let this happen. That's an absolutely insane lineup, nice pop punk additions. Cartel?

I think this tour will be rescheduled for the fall. They never actually canceled it

Yeah, Grand Rapids was the last date of that Killswitch tour to actually happen on March 11th.

Touring shows won’t happen in NY for a hot minute. You need full capacity to hit these band’s guarantees. Can’t really make money unless full capacity is sellable.

ABR/Northlane/Counterparts/Thornhill was also supposed to happen at some point in 2020, so who knows what will and won't still happen at this point.

  10. Ah yes another tour where Counterparts is severely underrated and underbilled on the lineup.

Seriously, I saw Northlane barely fill the same NYC venue that Counterparts sold out in advance in Fall of 2019.

I like it too, maybe my least favorite by them, but still has some songs that I think will be fun to see them play live

    Things have changed.

It's just the rescheduled tour from last year that hasn't been pushed again.

Idk if this is of interest of anyone here, but Girls Against Boys appear to have some shows in the works for 2021

It’s pretty ironic that that festival announces their lineup, which features mostly bands with men in them, on international women’s day. After seeing tons of posts about women/non-binary folks in bands and then seeing that lineup it’s so glaringly obvious how male dominated that lineup is.

That and the fact that they are keeping Don Broco on the lineup despite allegations against them.

everything is moving to September. im guessing that's the general time frame when things will be normal again or whatever idk

Things will (very likely) not be completely better by September to hold huge festivals with thousands/tens of thousands of people.

I mean, things are never really going to be completely better in the US due to the sheer number of people who will refuse a vaccine, but I really believe there has to come a point where you just say “well, we tried” and resume normal life the best you can.

I live in Toronto, and just this week our provincial government claimed that everyone who wants one will be able to receive a vaccine by the first of July, so I fully expect things here to normalize later in the summer.

I mean, I see smaller shows coming back first and then bigger shows once smaller shows are a go. I think 2022 is a likelier chance for big arena/stadium shows to happen.

With vaccinations happening as quickly as they are I don’t see why festivals can’t resume in September, at least in the US. Australia is having full blown festivals already, with a barely vaccinated population because they were able to slow the spread. Sure, there are some Trumpers who won’t get poked, well then they can’t attend.
