why? i have liked at least half of the marvel content ive consumed. it’s fine to point out when things are bad, even when you like other related things

 

I'm not talking about anyone specifically, just a general thought I have pretty often on this site. When I dislike almost everything about a thing, I typically don't engage with that thing lol

 

i don’t feel like i’ve seen a single post from someone on here that comes off as someone who dislikes everything MCU but i admittedly haven’t been paying attention to all the arguments

I got pretty much exactly what I was expecting out of this show and it was great throughout. There are little complaints here and there, like there are for anything, but overall this is easily one of my favorite things Marvel Studios has put out. Counting it as its own movie, it's definitely in the upper echelon compared to the films.

 

yeah I started watching because of all the “experimental” hype of to kind of see, okay, what’s the MCU’s version of that. My expectations were moderately low and have been about met. It’s about what I’d expect from the MCU, which is unexciting but not unentertaining. I think the last MCU thing I watched was Far From Home so I also kind of used this as a litmus test to see if I find them worth investing much more in, and for me I think it’s mostly a no. They put out so much content and it’s all mostly fine. I think I’m good, for the most part, give or take a Spider-Man or Chloe Zhao

 

White Vision does this in the comics, he eventually comes back.

 

I def have a few question about the post credits scene, like was normal Wanda an illusion? Is Scarlet Witch being set up as a potential baddie? Did she remake her kids? That’s pretty exciting to me.

 

Wanda using the Darkhold to try and bring back her children and Vision is definitely what is leading into Strange 2.

 

Yeah, that's what I was wondering too, was she astral projecting herself? Or was the Scarlet Witch version of herself the projection?

 

Finale was just ok with me. Didn’t really have any expectations. Didn’t care if this tied into X-men or FF or Doctor Strange for that matter. Don’t even know who Mephisto is. But it wasn’t as entertaining as the rest of the series. I didn’t hate it. And if Falcon and Winter Soldier is half as good as this I’ll be happy

It's going to be even worse because that show is going to get preemptively dismissed as "generic Marvel nonsense" despite it looking like a ton of fun

 

I'm highkey down for this though. Howard and Zemo team up? powerful energy

yeah I'm reasonably excited for every show tbh (except Hawkeye cos ugh, Jeremy Renner). Moon Knight is my most anticipated by far tho
