i think i expected a little more from folks here than generalized statements of "X fan base sucks"

I'm more than happy to admit when Cubs fans are being dumb and shitty, as they were during the Bartman nonsense, but I'd be hard pressed to blanketly say that an entire fan base sucks

It's the lowest common denominator of sports talk

 

oh I was mostly joking about my views. Fanbase talk is probably the worst thing to do because there are so many opinions on them.

the worst thing is when an isolated incident happens at someone's park/stadium and people automatically assume that fan base is awful.

 

To be completely clear. I was joking and being completely sarcastic. I apologize

I don't have anything against any fan base, we all have shitty fans and authentic fans

 

These last few starts have been really frustrating to watch from Kazmir just due to his inconsistency. He is already at 80 pitches and it's looking like he won't make it past 4 innings.

I know dodgers are already used to this but man Dodgers pitching really needs to step it up on this last run to the playoffs.

 

baseball injuries are amazing and awful at the same time.

 

These young Braves hurlers have been pretty awful.

 

Like that time Zambrano (I think?) got hurt playing guitar hero. Or the guy on the Diamondbacks when Bob Brenley was the manager who burned his neck while trying to iron his collar without taking the shirt off.

 

My wife always talks about how ridiculous some of the reasons for the DL are haha.

him and baez were an absolute force last night in the field as well. probably saved a run or two between them.

 

I love Baez so much. Him and Bryant (because LV). And I'll stop before I name the rest of the roster.

Seager - Turner - Gonzalez is just plain crazy to watch pitchers face off against. It's even better when Utley is before them.

 

At least none of the starters to show up this year are any of the biggest pitching prospects.

There has 100% never been a better time in my life to be a Cubs fan.

I am having too much fun with this

 

My friend who is a giants fan keeps texting me that the Dodgers cheated last night because of one questionable slide that didn't matter at all.

The only reason he even knows about it is because the Giants spent like five minute on the broadcast last night talking about how it was possibly illegal.

 

I was thinking this too and then they played RX Bandits going into a commercial break during the game this afternoon and I just about lost it.

Well, Folty is probably one of those biggest prospects. And he's been shaky. Probably the better of the bunch, but still... kind of inconsistent. And Aaron Blair was one of those hot prospects, was he not? Dude has been nothing short of terrible in the bigs.
