Oh okay, I'm still trying to figure out how all of that works, so basically if a player doesn't have a bonus and you cut them you don't lose anything? What about if they're on a one year contract with no bonus? Do I get that money that it says in savings immediately back into my cap?

Yeah, if they have no bonus you free up his entire salary and you get that saving immediately.

 

If you look at the salaries, there is a dead cap part. That is the money you have to eat if you cut someone or trade them. Some players dead caps are higher then the cap savings.
