well that scene with Monica pushing through the hex gave me actual chills. incredible stuff

 

why was she not affected the 2nd time around?
why did she jump out of the car that was transforming when it didn't faze her?

 

my only thoughts on this episode is why did they do an Office style theme song but the episode is filmed like modern family.

 

This episode really reminds me of why I hate Modern Family.

 

She walked through it for a long time this time, there was a whole sequence in the episode about her struggling through the dead zone between the outside world and the town. Nobody has ever been exposed to the barrier for that long of a period of time. And nobody has gone through it three times yet either.

She was initially afraid to go through, then she jumped out of the truck, realized she had to try to push through anyway, and then decided to go for it. That was communicated pretty clearly.

 

It’s gonna take a lot for me to care what Bucky fucking Barnes is up to after this masterpiece of a show.

 

this is something i just remembered, and it is probably not relevant at all, but at the end of Season 4 of Agents of SHIELD Ghost Rider took the Darkhold to another dimension....and now there's a very ominous looking book in Agatha's basement dungeon....

 

I immediately thought of the Darkhold too

would be a dope callback but seeing as the main MCU seems to be severely allergic to ever mentioning AoS I doubt it

 

but if the MCU and SHIELD are in different universes, Ghost Rider could have brought it to this one
