I’m such a Bedhead.

 

Doesn't make much sense for them to drop a full album and then not support it for months. Single drops tonight, they tease it until spring, and then support it in the summer/fall (God willing).

If there was ever a year to slowly tease out an album, this is it.

 

If this rollout is 4-6 months I'm going to lose my mind

With respect to the physical release, a small part of me is holding out hope that they treat this like other releases in the past. meaning that they already have the vinyl made and stored somewhere in order to shorten the timeline between album announcement, ordering period, and it being in our hands. That's how they typically handle these things anyway (BBI re-issue, the Andy Demos, RAGC, etc.)

 

I am looking forward to hearing the single because as of right now this is just sounding like a film score/new side project.

I could see this type of album being like 8 or 9 songs, but they're all 6-8 minutes long.

 

i'm hoping for an ep. 5 songs MAX < 3min each.

 

Honestly, I just want a sequel to Death of Dick Long. Hoping this is how they announce.

Every record has been 11 songs (not including deluxe or Jimmy bonus song) (besides SM at 10) and around 45 mins in length. I don't predict a big departure.
