Yeah, a few of his earlier videos can be hard to watch, but he has come a long way since and definitely seems like someone who has grown as a person and learnt from past mistakes.

It was due to his best of 2020 video that I first heard of Wallen, actually. Well, I say “heard of”. I completely forgot about him until that video surfaced. Forever grateful for country music not being a thing over here haha

 

I always assumed that it was at least somewhat popular in other English speaking countries around the world, but I based that solely on Keith Urban being Australian. Where are you from?

But I’ll occasionally check the UK equivalent of Billboard when I hear of a guy like Wallen and it nearly always shows that they had a song that peaked at number 67 and was out the chart by the next week.

Although I’m sure if I check his name on their today that we’ll have a contingent of our racists that pushed his numbers up.

 

We have 3 (i think) country stations on DAB and Country to Country is a fairly popular festival but it is definitely niche.
