Hasn’t he done Beth/Rest live before? Maybe even at one of those barn quarantine shows he does with Amanda?

  11. he should cover strafford apts but the "motor up" high part would be a stretch haha. something from for emma would work best

I can hear justin singing dress blues in my head and it sounds really good for some reason

For acoustic Bon Iver, I think Jason could do well on “Re:Stacks.” For electric, “Perth” would be dope. I just love that guitar riff. Not sure if Jason’s got a strong enough falsetto, but he could change the key or alter the melody a bit to make it work.

For vice-versa, I think Justin could do a great version of “If We Were Vampires”. Could also see “Only Children.”

Also, I bought tix for Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit (Lucinda Williams opening) for July 24 at the Warfield. Hoping it’s safe to attend in-person concerts by then!

I’m mostly familiar with Lucinda’s early stuff which I really dig. How’s her more recent output?

Every time I listen closely, I hear another lyric that hits me over the head.

    Another answer I don't understand

The Lyle/Jason show was awesome up until the stream conked out a little over an hour in. I have access to the recording til Feb 4, so gonna see if I can watch the rest.

but it was really more just a conversation between two greats who clearly have tons of respect for each other, interspersed with songs. Really neat.

have been listening to this a lot this week so far, one year release anniv. on Saturday. coming around WAY more on "What Have I Done To Help" both as an opener and a song in general.

Only Children and Dreamsicle still absolutely slay
