By my estimation, there’s not much that separates the two politically/morally

 

But I also wouldn’t fault anyone for being excited about what he can bring to a team. Regardless of his other shortcomings.

I also feel like I always hear about Odorizzi but I don't know what to make of him. I have no idea if he's good or not

 

Odorizzi is coming off injury if memory serves me right

he was good for the Rays back in 2015 and replicated that success in 2019 for the twins, but has otherwise produced middle of the rotation numbers dating back to his last year with the Rays

 

so the Bauer deal is essentially two years unless he turns into Mike Foltynewicz
