Honestly, this is what I love about Apple TV+. I don’t mind that they don’t have a back catalog because I know if I click on basically anything in their section, it’s gonna be good haha

Ah, cool. I didn't think they had that feature, but I don't have Max so I guess I didn't realize that. Hulu, Netflix and Amazon are all lacking.

edit: Hulu has an A-Z feature?? Guess I'm way out of the loop.

Just got an email that all seasons of Modern Family have been added to Hulu.
I've somehow never watched that show but heard great things. Thing I'll start that tonight!

 

I’m glad I finally downloaded Plex, and being able to share libraries is especially incredible, but it’s still a very different experience than just opening a streaming platform and not having to put any work into watching content. My biggest excitement from it recently has been that my new phone didn’t sync my music library automatically, but I already had it all on the server so it’s still easily playable when I need it.

My thing with Plex is I don't have enough content to actually make it worthwhile

 

I downloaded a bunch of simpsons from Disney+ to watch at this cabin where I don’t have internet and when I fire up the app on my iPad it says I need to connect to the internet.

what the fuck is the point of offline viewing if I need an internet connection?

Modern Family is the ultimate mindless watch for me. The first few seasons are certainly the best, and then it becomes mostly and completely OK. But it's so quick, and easy to have on and sometimes half pay attention to. There's certainly way worse sitcoms out there, and Modern Family is aggressively OK haha.

 

I love it. The actors bring so much to those characters.

 

It’s just same shit everyday - and it wanes on me. I think I liked season 2 better than season 1.

 

As a once big fan of the first two seasons, I can confidently say that “Modern Family” sucks.

 

I stopped watching around like season 3-4 and I just looked up how it ended, and apparently Cam and Mitch had a second kid they named Rexford??

 

Hate to break it to you, but 3 & 4 will be more of the same albeit in a different setting.

The first two seasons were originally 15 longer episodes that were recut to 22 when it made it to Netflix. I’m curious how the original format plays out.
