The Hunter is probably my least favorite Mastodon record behind Once More Around The Sun.

 

This is like a list of bands I listened to in high school even though I graduated in 2006 lol

Also WCAR is one of the worst live bands I've ever seen

 

Kvelertak, Mastodon, TBDM, In Solitude, Midnight, Opeth, and Ulcerate all 1000% deserve to be on that list. Those PTH and Trivium records are also solid. Obscura is a band I respect more than I actually enjoy, and that Machine Head album is good but it's my least favorite of their 'renaissance' era.

But lmao, Asking Alexandria, Within Temptation, Steel Panther, and Nightwish???

Kudos for featuring Worship Music though tbh, that's one of my favorites by Anthrax.

I miss Ryan in TBDM, his style of playing really elevated that band.

 

Ferret most specifically I can thank for many bands I still listen to now and love including MisSigs, ETID, ALOL, HHLL, FFAF, Lower D (who are back), Disembodied and Martyr A.D.

High school me thought they were the most amazing label at the time. I just looked at the history and so many bands I listened to just because they were on that label (A Static Lullaby, Boys Night Out, TDWP, Ligeia, Maylene, etc)
