I think BOATS is my favorite TSL album now. I’ve watched the performance 5 times already.

Ugh. I only bought the BOATS live vinyl, but I'm sooo tempted to buy a ticket to the stream for the interviews.

I'm relistening to the BOATS livestream and I'm amazed at how well they pulled this off after so many years. The songs have a lot of moving parts and they're just nailing them

Nights and Weekends! Brian would nail those overlapping vocals in the chorus

  13. My sweatshirt came today! Material’s a little thinner than I was hoping for, but the material is super comfy and the graphic print is a great size.

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

If they somehow play “Classic Jazz” I will absolutely lose my shit. It would give that amazing song a proper recording. All we have is love video and a basement demo.

  15. It would be a crime to omit it.

If they play Classic Jazz or Nights and Weekends, one of those alone would be worth the price of the ticket.

Kenny's anecdote on The World makes it almost unlistenable for me haha. Way too funny

on the livestream he introduced the song as the worst starting line song ever recorded

and that the record label kept sending them back to the studio to record “a hit single” and the band had no idea what that meant. And this is what they came up with

  21. There were some recycled anecdotes from the recent Music + Stories tour. Kenny has really strong opinions on just about every song.

His anecdote about the head of Geffen Records was really funny

Fuck, I like The World. I'm a sucker for that kind of song

  25. I’m sure his intention wasn’t to shit on anybody for liking it as much as it was to just give a firm indication almost 16 years later that they’re well aware of how silly and completely out of character it was. As cornball as I think that song is, nothing bugs me about it more than how disingenuous it sounds coming specifically from them and specifically on that album. Love hearing Kenny go on the record calling it out as such, but the song itself is fine in a vacuum. Even for all its cookie cutter-ness, it would’ve been most other pop punk band’s biggest single
