I think Copeland, Gatsby’s, Cartel, and a band called something like the Suicide Pact or something like that

Would love it if they gave us Make Yourself At Home on the last stream.

  6. Screaming Is For Babies was so much fun. I wasn’t so much into Copeland at the time, but between the other three bands that was one of my favorite shows that year. Gatsby was such a black sheep and I loved it haha

I just found what sounds like an early version of Nights and Weekends, are you guys familiar with this?

Yeah it’s part of the Geffen Demos, there are some others floating around IIRC

I appreciate that Kenny hit ask the high notes that are on the record. He still sounds great.

    photography was amazing

  11. Hearing these songs played so straightforwardly really highlights how intricate and playful their instrumentation sometimes was. This band gets written off as being just a pop punk band a lot, but they were way more capable than that. Stripping back all of the production flourishes makes it clear imo

where would i be if i was my brain Prestigious

I honestly think if *that one line* sounded the same with different words it could have competed with “Sugar We’re Going Down” for a hit single in the summer of 05. (Obviously under the same label push and what not)

I am now just remembering I was at that Screaming Is For Babies tour. My old brain isn’t working anymore.

Can’t wait to watch this tomorrow! BOATS is one of my all time favorite albums. All these comments reaffirmed my decision to buy all of these streams on vinyl

Screaming is for Babies was my first tour haha. Could never forget that one

cartel and TSL put on a hell of a show

had no idea who Copeland was and thought they were pretty awful. Ended up being one of my other all time favorite bands years later

Just reading this thread for some nostalgia. Forgot that tour was called Screaming is for Babies. My now wife and I saw the St. Louis stop when we were dating and still talk about what a great line up it was. The New Atlantic was the opener that differed from other stops. They had a handful of great songs that still hold up, particularly Cold Hearted Town and Late Night Television.

I had friends who went to that tour and had an opportunity to go but didn’t, bummer. I might be thinking of that MCS/Format/Matches tour though.

Alright. Bought the tickets. Starting with BOATS and my goodness they sound like they never broke up. Mixing is on point, backing vocals are great, and they’re having fun. I also really appreciate they shuffled the set list.

ugh. They need a new album lol.

Can’t wait to watch this later this weekend. It’s pretty cool seeing a band actually play a bunch of deep cuts that they’ve otherwise ignored over the years. I feel like there are a ton of bands who almost don’t even acknowledge a decent chunk of their own catalogs.

“Yeah, so like I was sayin’...the worst Starting Line song...it’s called The World...we’re gonna rock it!”

    Fucking hilarious.

Anyone else having issues with the Direction show link? I purchased the ticket and it's saying they can't find my ticket.

Looks like you're not going in the right direction.

Sorry, I'm a dick. Ha hope you find it.

I liked the album shuffle too - especially the doc part where they are talking about how shitty the label was and then go right into "Ready" which sounds like it was written based on how much they got jacked around with that album

    This was soooo good.

  25. This happened to me. I used one address to create the Studio 4 account, but their ticketing payment system is shared by a few other bands doing livestreams, so a different email address was inadvertently used there. Shoot the studio's support address an email with your order info and the preferred address and they'll get it straight.
