Regarding Biden's plan, would the $15 min wage be permanent or is that just a temporary thing for the pandemic. Would be pretty awesome if just like that a federal $15 minimum wage was achieved that quickly into Biden's term.

 

I need to stay off of twitter because the idiocracy and failure of anyone to understand that it was always meant to be an increase of the $600 to $2000 is too much for me to handle tonight

 

They were saying this after the thing passed man. It’s insulting that it’s 1400. If you campaign on $2000 checks, then do it.

 

I mean if they can do $2000 on top of the $600 no complaints from me, whether congress agrees to that would probably be the issue.

People in this thread literally just talked about this last week and agreed it meant $1400 (General Politics Discussion VIII • Page 1406 • forum.chorus.fm). So for anyone to suddenly be shocked/outraged when it is indeed $1400, idk why. You can be mad and say that you want it to be $2000 on top of it, but far too many people are mad because they think Biden went back on his word.

It’s the most democrat type thing to make it $1400 checks, not retroactive or anything lol. It’s basically the bare minimum.
