I wish I was a better writer and could articulate it in a longer form, but my thesis is that local news media (and the comment section of local news media) is perhaps one of the most dangerous places on the internet. Normies trust local news, even the liberal ones. So if they see “WSET-13” or whatever they don’t think of the ideology behind the “news” that is posted or aired. I mean you have news stories that are word for word press releases from the cops and giant media conglomerates (ahem.. Sinclair) controlling thousands of stations where the majority of Americans get their news... it’s seriously scary stuff.

 

Nice, my mom just read an article on criteria for people with weakened immune systems to apply for the vaccine, and it seems we may all be eligible for the 22nd of this month! Will need to talk with my doctor and see what she says
