I still like the concept of dislikes. If stuff gets to like -10, it should just automatically hide.

The downside of that is all my posts will be hidden.

If you get enough scene points you get a free Paramore download.

If you go negative enough you have to buy a The Dangerous Summer vinyl.

My perspective is that they should know better and are bad on foreign policy both AOC and unfortunately Ilhan.

Say what you want about his politics, but this cartoon from Ben Garrison really made me look at things differently....

Sometimes I think people on Twitter get a little carried away with analyzing what tweets a person "likes".

Yes, but to use this as an example would be bad because it is one like within the greater context of their record, politics, what they’ve said, etc.

We need to work with the people who want slavery back. Unity not divisiveness.

I see liberal-minded journalists and celebrities who follow Fox News or Republican politicians on Twitter and just assume they want to see their tweets on their time line rather than they support their politics.

No US politician is particularly good on foreign policy, I agree, but again if you seem to be under the impression that they or Bernie or any of the most left members of Congress think that the Iraq/Afgani wars helped bring peace at home, them liking a tweet which includes that statement among several others is very weak evidence compared to all the actual things they have said about it lol. Just googling their names + “Iraq war” brings up:

Omar slams U.S. war in Iraq on anniversary of invasion

We're lucky that the raid was led by the stupidest people imaginable with little to no coordination once they made in inside the building, otherwise this could have been so much worse

i know they don’t approve of those wars and everyone liking that tweet knows that. What I’m getting at is that they are still willing to play a game of respectability politics with the idea that the military is some good peace keeping force, whether they really believe it or not and how that sucks.

I don't think that's what it implies at all. What are you getting at, that they can't like any tweet that mentions the military doing something? It was a simple comparison to how what happened at the Capitol felt like a warzone. Nothing about it indicates they support the military as a peacekeeping force.
