i have an idiot crush on this girl from work but i know for a fact i will fuck it up somehow by making things weird. she's been ultra cool to me since my breakup but i don't want to like jump the gun on anything or whatever. i really just don't want anyone to ever have feelings for me ever again tbh. she's coming over to listen to records when i get back from jersey and i have to hide all my weirdo anime nerd shit.

if you can't be yourself around someone then that's a problem. anyone who is judgmental of your interests (unless they're justified because you're creepy/disrespectful/offensive or something) is probably not worth your time. i enjoy anime and games.

Girl I went on a date with on Sunday said she wouldn't have time to go on dates or start dating someone with classes starting up. I totally understand. Just super bummed because we had the same sense of humor, music tastes, tv/movie tastes, political views, interests, etc. She said she'd let me know if anything changes. So maybe? idk...

 

I dunno who doesn't have time? She working two jobs or something along with school?

 

That's what I'm thinking, like she's just being very nice about letting me down. I told her if anything changes she should let me know and she said "i most certainly will :)". But, we live in a suburb of KC and the school she's going to is in central KC, about 30ish minutes away w/ traffic, and then she has some clubs she's involved in, her family hosts an exchange student, and she has a job giving private classical violin and piano lessons. So yeah, whatever. Onwards.

 

I prob have enough time to date but I'm so tired when I get off work, and just want to chill on the days that I don't work, that I don't have any desire to put forth that effort and time. What is dating for lazy people? Speed dating? idek.

 

Speed dating is efficient and to the point so I'm assuming that's for type A, productive people. lazy dating is watching the same stream of the movie as the person you're skyping with.

 

I'd totally join a site/app where you choose a show and just skype the person while you both watch it and if you know you both like the show and have funny/interesting commentary it's a done deal

 

That feeling when you've been on Tinder for 3 weeks and haven't received a single match.

Although to be completely transparent I find myself swiping left more often than right, but still.

 

I made a tinder account yesterday but I disabled the "discovery" part until I'm ready because I have all these stupid reasons why I am too afraid to actually participate. I haven't even used the thing but I'll probably delete it before I do.
