Putting aside what we WANT to happen, what will they actually do?

    - Committee to "look at" police reform
    - I do think they'll do some sort of Voting Rights Act
    - Decriminalize marijuana, I don't see them going all the way tbh
    - Another stimulus
    - Update healthcare.gov website to make it look more like Amazon

Joke's on them. I'm totally cool with my pirated 720p DVD rips that I downloaded 8 years ago.

Peacock also has Premier League games and are putting way to many top tier games on that stupid service. Thankfully I just use my parent's comcast login to be able to use that stupid service.

They'll immediately move on infrastructure, further COVID relief, full judgeships, HB1. The other stuff Manchin will conveniently kill.

DC statehood should be a top priority, but I feel like Dems think they can't do it because they probably won't abolish the filibuster. At the same time, the thing no one talks about for some reason is that they don't NEED a cloture vote -- I would be really interested in that conversation becoming more commonplace than the filibuster one. Let Republicans read the phone book and take up the Senate's time, and after 50 have done so, go vote.

Legal weed would be awesome but I don't see it as a priority and hope they don't. I certainly hope they focus their political capital (such as it is) on the structural reform bills that will help enshrine their power.

All Time Low is pretty nostalgic for me and their new music is alright. Imagine Dragons are pretty boring and bland.

Look, I can't in good conscious vote for a free krispy kreme donut because it doesn't specify that it's free for me. I mean someone has to pay for the donuts after all, so what if I'm voting to buy a bunch of other people free donuts? And maybe Nana's out of the house at the time and she has home insurance and can probably get a better home afterwards anyway so I'll take my chances.

I think there's going to be a push to both 1. Lower the Medicare age to 55 or 60, and 2. Enact some sort of public option.

I don't...thiiiink they can do either with only 50 senate votes, but maybe?

Wait is Ossoff the first national politician that is both young enough and white enough that we can assume he had the "standard" white American teen existence of the early-mid 2000s? I'm so excited for the memes.

AOC is young enough for sure. Not sure she's emo enough for LJ though.....maybe she had a xagna? or a blurty?
