Demons Souls is soooooo good! Just killed the first boss. Dual Sense feels so good during parrying/backstabs. Exploration, and progression is bringing me back to the first time I played Bloodborne.

Got through Blighttown in Dark Souls last night. I've gotta look up videos of when it was a frame rate nightmare

 

Tbh I used to think it was intentional, to add to the blight

 

Man I just can’t wait to get home later, and play more Demon’s Souls. Haven’t even started Miles Morales yet.

 

DeS is prob my GOTY, I wanted to give it some time before deciding but is an experience i'll never forget. A lot of it has to do with the visuals but it also helped me big time with gitting gud at these games. I can't wait to do a second play through with magic.

 

I have so many problems with my PS5. Now I get an error anytime I try and search in the store. It won’t even let me sign up for PS Plus. I can use the app. But wow, what is going on with this thing? I would expect smooth performance on these type of things for sure. This is really losing me off.

 

Do you by chance have any suggestions on these issues I’m having?

 

I've never seen anything like this or heard anything like this talked about frequently online. I think the system needs a complete software reinstallation.

JFGING INTO 2021 LETS GO BOYS

 

Finished AC:Valhalla and wasn’t a huge fan. I had a ton of game breaking glitches and had to wait for patches to continue along with the most crashes I’ve ever had with a game by far, the game was so long that I had no connection to the side characters and often forgot who they were when they showed up because I met them a month and a half and 100 gameplay hours ago, and a lot of the core AC mechanics (stealth, parkour, combat) were either broken or really repetitive. Once the story was distilled to its core, I was interested but it took way too long to get there. My feelings are pretty similar to Blag Flag where that was a pirate game first and an AC game second and this is a Viking game first and an AC game second.

 

I’m about 10 hours and about here with my playthrough. Sad to hear it doesn’t get better

I’ve seen a lot of other people really like it so your experience may be very different. It just wasn’t for me, I guess.

 

Nah, I haven’t read those posts. Yours resonated most with my experience in regards to the story. A lot of the game revolves around AI that is boring to fight, and a compass system that isn’t intuitive enough

 

Vikings suck.
