This is so specific! Lmao. But I actually recently did buy a pair of slippers have hard bottoms and they’re loud as hell so I get it

When people my age or younger call me “sport” or “buddy” like I’m their nephew or something.

 

its because I’m venting. My sister in laws boyfriend is the infamous foot shuffler. It’s like nails on a chalkboard!

 

It’s the same as women calling other women sweetie or hun. It’s very patronising.

The leasing office talked to the annoying people behind me, and these people tried to act like they don’t know what’s going on and they don’t play their music loud .-. The asst manager told me if I’m home and they’re open to call and have them listen for themselves because it would help also record it. Which I have been!! I mentioned I can go in the morning and have them take a listen.

one of my family members who I am very close to tested positive for the virus on Tuesday of this week. I had just hung out with him maybe a day or two before he got it, so I feel very fortunate in that regard but I'm trying not to look at this selfishly. it could've just as easily been me or my grandmother or my uncle (who had a stroke this year) and I just hope he recovers well from it and no one else in our family gets it

then later on Tuesday night: my aunt and uncle had just gotten new furniture delivered to their new house and the house burned down on the very same day. luckily they hadn't moved in yet, but all of their possessions (including a quilt that my deceased great grandma made and all their Christmas presents, among other things) were of course burned up in the fire and the part that breaks my heart the most is that my aunt was most upset about losing the quilt because she knows she'll never have another one from her. it's all just so sad and I can't really be there for them more than a phone call because they live so far away from me

Fairly positive the annoying people behind me don’t have jobs. Music all day. Earlier in the week I went down to the leasing office and had the assistant manager listen to my recordings of the music, said they’ll let the property manager know. The noise hasn’t stopped! These people don’t give a flying fuck and think they’re not doing anything! Also it appears is a couple that lives there because I can hear them bickering all the time and saying “couple things”. Their relationship also sounds unstable. I’m waiting until the music is at its “loud” before I call someone from the leasing office to come listen. I had mentioned it’s louder than others some days. I’m so sick of it all. This is a violation to my right of a quiet enjoyment

Recaps before the new episode plays. I get why this was a thing before DVR and all that but when a show airs now or especially on a streaming service just cut it. Some have the “skip recap” button or skip it entirely but like the season finale of Ink Master season 2 it was built in. If your watching the finale without knowing how it got to that point that’s on you, quit wasting my time and filling air time with nonsense.
