    Yes. Both versions, actually.

Album version is perfect. Can't remember if I've heard the full band version or not, but I don't really see any need for it.

Last night I watched a full Futures tour show and wow... That was a perfect JEW set list. The fact that "Let It Happen" (a deep cut) has stayed in their sets since CTL is the best. Maybe a top 3 JEW song for me.

The Futures tour they did was seriously some of the best live work the band has done. Them playing songs from Static Prevails and SOMST was a treat for sure.

Still breaks my heart that I had tickets to a Futures 10-year show and couldn't make it.

Yeah I was just looking back at the setlist they played in Philly and I'm still so fucking bummed I couldn't make it.

They didn't play anything from Static Prevails when I saw them on the Futures tour. Although that was one of the best live shows I have ever seen.

That is truly heart breaking. Seriously. There wasn't one near me. Let's hope for 20th anniversary show?

I was lucky enough to be able to snag the setlist that they crumbled up and threw in the crowd. Managed to get every band member to sign it and my vinyl copy of Futures. Every band member except Jim, who must have been tossing them back all night. Seriously, I waited in the parking lot until like 3-4 in the morning waiting for him to come out.

We can hope! There wasn't one particularly close to me, either, but my brother and I were going to make a road trip out of it. My grandpa passed away about 10 days before and his funeral was the day of the show. I don't regret missing the concert, because being there with my family that day/night was incredibly important. But it's definitely top of the list for shows I wish I'd been able to catch. And it's all the more heartbreaking for me because of the circumstances. I could have used that show then, too. It would have been so cathartic and so powerful.

  18. Put this back on tonight, what a timeless album. Completely timeless in every sense of the word.

  19. So I know what my entire week is gonna be now. 177 songs in my iTunes for these guys. Gonna listen to them all. Haha.

I was actually planning on doing that this week too. It's been a while since I've done it, and I can't think of a better time than now.

  21. I'm a complitionist with a few bands, this being one of them. I like having all the versions.

yep YWG full band version is really tight. I think the album version fits better, but the alt version is a fantastic piece of rock.

  23. BA down, onto Futures. Opens with "I hope for better in November" ... think of Trump, remember Bush.

God I love this album something fierce.

was it you that said you wanted "Just Tonight" to open that record? Or was that someone else? Because I could see that happening. But man, yeah, that title track is a great opener.

    Any new thoughts on BA?

  25. Yeah, I have long argued that I think "Just Tonight" would have been a killer opener for that album. I like the song, Futures, but I think it's maybe the most dated of the tracks (lyrically), and I think JT has a bigger "kick", but I'm totally fine with how it ends up playing out. I think "Just Tonight" and "Let it Happen" are two underrated "put them first on a mixtape for someone" songs ... and any song I'd open a mixtape with I think should open an album.

"Hear You Me" through "My Sundown" is one of the best stretches in any album. It's just top notch song after top notch song, raising the bar every time.
