Is taking another democrat away from the Senate a wise choice?

 

Oh I'm an idiot, didn't realize he lost re-election. Didn't think his term was over so soon

 

Its truly stunning how they defend the electoral college because they don't want the big states to be the only one that has a say, but then celebrate a big state suing other states because it doesn't like how their elections were wrong.

 

What's the worst thing about Doug Jones as AG, besides "they could have picked someone more progressive"?

 

Basically just that. I'm ok with him for AG, assuming he's taking one of the conservative-leaning spots in the cabinet. I certainly don't agree with him on much policy, but his being so adamant in prosecuting the KKK in a case that had been dead for decades gives me confidence that he's committed enough to doing the right thing such as not to be too bad

 

Isn't that enough?

 

I think people like the Doug Jones pick generally, he did some great work against the KKK and had a decent track record in the senate considering being in a red state

We desperately need an AG that is willing to prosecute energy company executives and their enablers for climate crimes. It won’t be this one but in my lifetime, hopefully while many most responsible are still alive, I need to see that happen.

It's truly breathtaking to see truly how little these fucks care about the lives of the citizens they supposedly govern

 

And, even to this day, I'm amazed that the idea of wearing a mask or not became a political statement, the idea that if you're a Republican, naturally you'd lean towards not wearing a mask or not believing at all in it's benefits. Simply infuriating how much Trumpism has rotted the brains of millions of Americans.
