I feel like I’m too high up? I’m 27, not an essential worker, and no health concerns

Playing around with it a bit, it seems that healthy young adults like me are higher up in the line than healthy older adults (it appears that they actually place 18-29 healthy and non-essential workers ahead of 31-64-year-old healthy non-essential workers). How did they come to placing someone like me ahead of an older person in their early 60s? I guess it would be because they assume younger people tend to go out more and are drivers in the spread so they should be vaccinated to prevent that? Idk, feel like I'm too high lol

hmmm it seems like whether or not you have a covid-related health risk makes a huge difference in the line. im an essential worker and immunocompromised but i double checked and the cdc doesnt consider my specific condition to put me at higher risk so when i unchecked that box i went from 23 million to 126.5 million. i definitely dont feel like i should be top 23 million priority anyway

 

Big discrepancy between healthcare worker and first responders. I did it twice with first responder coming out as 5,000 ahead of me in my county (20m in the country, 750k in IL) but if I switched it to health care, just “very few” ahead of me.
