Yes, I know it's not Postmates.

possinly true but becoming President really does change a lot of shit haha. Including the millions you make in book sales and speaking fees. Obama is definitely “hire a butler” rich whereas Bernie may not be at this point.

When Obama says he never cooks was it because he has a personal chef doing it for him or is he just ordering from restaurants and having Michelle cook everything?

Obviously, this conversation isn't important but I feel like there are a decent amount people out there, rich or not, the simply rarely cook because either they rely on just getting take-out or having their partner cook all the meals.

If you can afford take out everyday you have to be a little wealthy. I know I couldn’t afford it, we cook almost everyday because it’s what we can afford to do to eat well not because we love to cook everyday.

Growing up very poor the only time I ate even shitty restaurant food like Applebee’s (which at the time I thought was high quality) was either when a friends parents took me or after I left the house and was in college. But that really was near the bottom level of poor where we would eat noodles for lunch and dinner for a week straight sometimes.

I love to cook, I'd still want to do it even if I didn't have to.

If I could have someone else handle buying groceries and cooking my meals I'd absolutely go with that, haha. All that time saved would mean a few extra hours of shitposting online a week

A chauffeur is appealing to me just because I hate driving

I'm not sure I would turn down a personal chef but I like cooking so that wouldn't be a priority for me

I could see a single person without student loans and a $80-100k income affording to order out for every meal, and I wouldn't necessarily flat-out call them "rich"

Yeah, I don't understand how anybody, other than someone who is wealthy, could eat take out even half the month. I'm a teacher and wife is a dental assistant and we make "decent" wages, but there is no way we could eat out that much. We literally do half of our grocery shopping at the dollar tree and get our meats from like Winn Dixie or Grocery Outlet because we are poor as shit (to put a little context we do have 5 kids between the two of us and that definitely is part of the reason we have to shop at cheap places for food).

My roommate makes less than this and he orders takeout probably 75% of the time. He can afford it because it is by far his biggest expense lol. He doesn't have a car, doesn't really drink, doesn't go on trips, etc. Other than takeout and video games he has basically no unnecessary expenses
