That’s what I was hoping, considering it was just an IG story post from Jesse’s wife. But then Brian re-posted it and yeesh. Worrying for sure.

 

Who is Brian in relation to the band? A touring member or manager?

 

Nothing would surprise me. Someone posted above a screenshot of the IG account responding to a comment "standby for more" which makes me think this isn't just some sort of reunion photo over the holidays.

And Andrea on Instagram often talks as if her husband is still an active musician.

The sad thing is, if BN dropped anything tomorrow, the masses would eat it up instantly.

 

He's their drummer.

 

That was Iodine Records that said that, which suggests some kind of early BN repress. It would still suck but hopefully doesn’t mean new music.

 

They’re not coming back. They were splitting up before all the Jesse stuff came out.

 

there’s no reason to be surprised by them still being friends/spending the holidays together. they completely enabled his behavior for years.

Would not be surprised if they came back with new music or even tour dates down the line. Nothing is too surprising these days in the music scene in regards to abusers being given a platform again.

 

Someone commented this on the post and Iodine liked it. They liked a lot of the replies on that post so it could mean nothing but it still is concerning.

 

I dont think it necessarily means they're launching a comeback, if they want to hang in private thats their business, but if you're posting that over social media you know exactly the kind of speculation you're gonna be feeding into.

 

Which is what I've said - signs point to an actual reformation which is gross as fuck, the implications are there and it sucks.

 

Surely the post has been getting at least a few criticizing comments right? I wonder if they've been deleting them because so far all I saw were positive ones

 

I feel like if anything it’s just going to be some represses or something....didn’t the band plan on ending even before the allegations came ?

 

They also didn't get their big farewell tour payday, wouldn't doubt if they came back for that

 

I still think that they're hyping up a YFW re-release and just playing coy. I really hope that's all it is.

 

Imagine playing coy about the child predator band. That record label is disgusting.

No way they do anything, even a repress, without addressing stuff, right? Like, SOME sort of statement would have to be put out by the band as a whole, no?

Well, definitely if there was a tour/new music, i cant imagine that happening without a statement. Maybe a label just doing a repress won't elicit that.

But the way they went out with jesse doing the half-assed apology and the band not doing some form of statement to address things or, at the very least, put a stop to the attacks that were happening on the victims and accusors, was....not great. They'd have to address it in some way. (Well, they don't, but you know what I mean)

 

oh weird, some were telling me they couldn't see it anymore. good deal!

 

If there's one thing we know record labels love to do, its profiting off of abusers.
