I created a fake FB account and subscribed to a few conservative news pages and groups for shits. I joined the Recount 2020 Official Patriots group and a lot of posts are people losing morale and starting to doubt Trump will be re-elected. One guy posted how conservative women are the best at sex so I laid into my own faux tales of freaky conservative women. The post got deleted by the puritanical admins.

If Nolan ever remade a Kubrick movie, I would be unreasonably angry

 

He has way too much respect for the man, I would bet all kinds of money he'd never "remake" anything at all from him; all the stuff about the 2001 restoration was awesome:

One of the few times I took mushrooms I saw 2001 in a theatre. It was a religious experience. Which isn’t surprising because seeing it for the first time even sober is a borderline religious experience.
That movie is sacred, nobody touch it.

Y’all forgetting the Shining remake from the 90s starring Steven Weber?! plus the 2001 sequel from the 80’s.

 

That wasn't a remake of the film, it was a different adaptation based on the book because Stephen King always hated the movie

Fun fact, I made the wife of a friend of mine really mad one time because I said that not only do I prefer the movie over the miniseries, I also pointed out why it was bad. Her argument was that it was more fateful to the book so it’s better.

It’s kinda why I gave him the side eye when he was promoting the Doctor Sleep movie, dude spent all this time shitting on Kubrick’s movie and how it ruined his life or whatever but I guess money talks.
