Yeah the gameplay is a blast, no doubt about it. But thinking about doing all the missions again just makes me go ughhh haha. It was a nice change of pace at the time having 3 protagonists and I will always love the heists no matter what haha

 

God, I just remembered the towing missions on Franklin and how bloody tedious they were.

 

And don't forget the classic moving shipping containers at the dockyard. Just what everyone was looking for from that game.

 

Nothing in that game however is as bad as searching a cabin or walking through camp in RDR2

 

Another one was that torture mission that added absolutely nothing to the story whatsoever except some "shock value"

 

Yeah that was terrible

I've been playing Dissidia Final Fantasy Opera Omnia since release, but it's the only gacha I've ever been able to stomach for more than a week.

 

Maybe a hot (or warm?) take, but...

This post on Kotaku this morning reminded me -- Bully is probably the best thing that Rockstar ever made, and it makes me bummed they're basically just a Red Dead/GTA company now.

Bully Doesn't Sound Like Your Typical Rockstar Game

 

They were a genuinely interesting developer during the 2000s, its a real shame they hit on the GTAonline money printer

 

I think Bully was a good game but the idea was better than the execution. I personally think RDR1 and GTAV are better games.

 

Bully was decent but I never got the cult status it’s received over the years

 

It was a interesting idea that could’ve been better executed, which bums me out they never went back to it and made a sequel to improve on it

 

GTA V is one of my all time favorite gaming experiences. It's one of the few games in the last two generations that I have been able to play multiple times.

 

I actually just recently re installed GTA V, and it’s still a blast. Just driving around, and golfing.

Idk I definitely don’t feel like EVERY game needs a sequel. LA Noir exists too. There will definitely be other new IPs from RStar in the future - esp since they have like 12 studios.

 

In hindsight our mutual contempt for RDR2 is the reason @Vase Full Of Rocks and I became cool lol

 

L.A. Noire was pretty cool I thought

Though Mafia 3 is better than any Rockstar game except maybe GTA5, even though I'm the only one that thinks so lol

I found it really dull. Playing through the remake of the first one right now, though and it’s great.
