How the hell can Kuzma be overrated if everyone, including Lakers fans, is constantly trashing him?

 

Kuzma is overexposed, not overrated. If anything, he's underrated because social media would have you think that he's the worst player to play in a Lakers jersey. Dude would just be considered a serviceable roleplayer on any other team but the Lakers.

 

Kuzma was unplayable in all but one game of the finals (one of the games they lost) yet people talked about that lakers team like he was their third asset lol

dude will be out of the league in less than five years. he was less of an asset than caruso or javale.

I think using context of him being 20 years old with one year of experience makes Herro appropriately rated. I get being annoyed by the attention he's received since the bubble, but it was pretty well deserved. Like, he isn't one of the top players yet, but he deserves hype because of what we've seen so far.

 

i feel like he wasn’t even that crazy during the season? someone on his own team ended up on a higher all rookie team than him haha. he popped off in a few playoff games, and like he really really popped off, but people are talking about how he would have been the unanimous number one pick this year, is a future mvp candidate, and top 5-10 young player in the league lol

like, yeah, he’s overrated for sure. his team beat tatum’s team, but he isn’t tatum. i wouldn’t even say he’s brown.

 

man why do people in this thread constantly force me to praise the fucking celtics, my least favorite team in sports.

I could see Herro being Gordon Hayward-ish as his ceiling

 

Tobias Harris should be on everyone’s overrated list. No exceptions.

 

he might be above kuzma as #1. but a lot of that is the contract.

 

I was unaware people were saying he was better than Tatum lol

But I think he's been better than what people thought when he was drafted and has a pretty high ceiling. That's why I wouldn't put him in the overrated team. But obviously if people are trying to say he's Tatum, then sure, put him there.

 

I think it's a combination of the contract and Philly building a weird team. Starting Harris, Horford, and Embiid was too much and I think it hurt Harris' production. Now that the lineup looks a little more balanced I think Harris will look much better, but the contract still might be a reach.

 

Harris will look a lot better this season under Doc imo
