I wish I could afford a new console. The PS5 is shit for me but that’s just because I have zero interest in any of the games on there besides Spiderman. Nothing to do with the console itself

The joysticks and everything just feel so stiff and slightly less responsive than what I’m used to. But maybe I need to just try it out longer.

It’s ugly af imo (though I sympathize with the product designer saying he wanted to make a console that doesn’t look like you’d expect it to look) but otherwise it seems great. It appears to me that this generation is a lot better in terms of hardware than the last one was out of the gate. Except for the storage mess.

I hope the haptic feedback finds more use than the HD rumble, which is also great but underused as fuck.

Is there anyone on twitter better at tipping off when/where consoles are going up over Wario64? I’m on like day 5 or 6 of this queue shit and it’s getting old.

 

I've been following these guys. During the first wave of releases, I managed to get consoles in my basket like 4 or 5 times (only didn't get them as I decided not to pull the trigger). This time round all the sites have been crashing every time I check, but they've been good at posting in advance anyway.

Edit - just had one again at Amazon UK, though by the time anyone reads this they'll probably have sold out haha.

 

I don't think there is anyone better than Wario64 at being on top of these type of things.

Managed to get a PS5 on Game! £20 for Priority Delivery is a rip-off and it's not delivered until 10th December but I'm glad I got one. Just hope that it's not cancelled unexpectedly. Tried for a bundle but they all sold out. That was one of the most stressful things I've ever had to do.
