I’ll watch shit I don’t want to watch and do shit I don’t want to do if for the sake of making someone I’m already seeing happy, but I cannot fathom reading theory for the sake of trying to impress someone I’m not even dating

I've been completely unable to book a covid test any of the times I have tried at CVS or Walgreens anywhere even remotely near where I am in MA. It only allows you to book appts a certain number of days out and there are never any available times. And so far I haven't qualified through my doctor to actually have a test done even though I've had what I consider exposures and have had symptoms. I've been able to get tested but I've had to pay a ton of money each time out of pocket and it's been for the rapid test.

 

Our governor rolled back restrictions a little bit so where basically back at “phase 1” numbers for restaurants and stuff but wants to keep pushing kids into schools. So fuck him.

But the one thing we’ve done right is testing. I can get tested pretty much whenever I’d like to at this point and we get our results back in right 1-2 days tops

 

A few weeks ago I was able to book a test at CVS same day. Now it looks like you have to book it 2 days in advance, if you can even book an appointment at all. Not surprising given the huge spike we have seen here in NJ.

There is an urgent care near me that has drive thru testing and the line of cars the other day was the longest I have ever saw it. I heard some people waited over 2 hours to get a test.

 

There was some controversy in New Jersey because the rule there states that if you sent in your mail in ballot and then died before Election Day, your vote still counted. That’s totally fair to do, but republicans didn’t like that rule.

 

Dark. But ... ugh.
