As an outsider, it absolutely boggles my mind that like near to 50% of voters actually want another four years of this chaos and insanity. They want your country to burn to the ground in the name of "patriotism".

Pissed at California right now. We act like we're some progressive beacon then 22 passes and 16 and 21 fail.

I think a lot of people overestimate how popular progressive policy is if these no-brainers can't even pass here.

 

i live in miami. if theres anywhere where that ludicrous attack worked its here. although most of the young cubans i know that are politically engaged voted for biden, they dont fall for it that hard. the older generation eats it up though, you have no idea how many people ive heard call biden a communist which is just unreal.

 

i mean, it isn't that unique. look at boris. people love propping up a dude who allows and encourages them to be racist and anti-semitic.

 

Castro absolutely should be on the ticket in 2024.

Harris is not a great candidate imo. She’s just not good at campaigning/politics imo. She’s a good person in the senate. She’ll be the odds on favorite as the VP but, if there’s a primary, I don’t think she a lock.

adittionally regarding miami hispanics: idk how it is in other places but i cant tell you how many young people here fancy themselves entrepeneurs and are like "well the economy" while trump's policies totally fuck them, but they think it makes them seem more in tune to the markets.

Honestly this might be the best possible result for the republicans. Keep a clear lead of the senate to prevent Biden from doing anything major. Stir up the base in 2022 + count on the woke dems who just showed up to stop Trump to go back to bed and retake the house. Then probably have the edge in the 2024 presidency race as well.
