We’re gonna be debating wtf the electorate really is or looks like and how divided it is forever? This could be the pre-comey Hillary map and a very large pop vote lead.

Leans to likely Biden right now. WI, MI look good. PA probable. Senate probably unlikely but unknown.

Biden’s up less than 30k in WI and down by 15k in MI with 90% something reporting each

making me super nervous

 

Yeah re: the Wasserman tweet, I think if anything this should finally be the end of the high degree of faith people had in polling. At least it should be.

 

What’s the likely outcome of the senate right now? 49 D/ 51 R or what?

 

I haven’t looked hard yet but that’s what I think, it really depends on RCV in Maine and I have not a good grip on how to even guess that one.

 

Seems like there are a bunch of votes left in wayne county (Detroit)

 

Where the votes are and what they are are going to come back heavy Biden. 3 or 4 to 1 in some places.

 

Trump was up by nearly 300,000 votes in MI around the time I turned it all off last night

 

Imagine tracking the vote if there was RCV nationwide. Whew.

Why is this so close

 

So this is essentially playing out exactly as predicted? Trump leading election night - trump prematurely declaring victory - and then mail in votes starting to put Biden in the lead in the days to come

 

Even though I told myself to not be so over-confident as in 2016, the left bubble I am living in made me think there will be a blue wave this year. kinda dissapointed in my own illusion about the usa, a country that I hold very dearly in my heart.

 

I think people underestimated how hard it is to run against an incumbent, first term president, regardless of if it’s Trump or not
