No, I totally agree. There's totally a chance, I just feel like it isn't exactly likely at this point.

Sure the Electoral College sucks ass but imagine how much worse off we'd be if instead the Founders had decided that the president should be whoever wins the most states.

 

I'm optimistic about PA/MI/WI because of the volume of mail-in ballots that are left to count. Not only will Trump's lead narrow because of Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Detroit, etc. but his margins may also narrow in the counties that he's winning.

 

I'm seeing 5.9% with 66% reporting on CNN/NYT. Collins is also below 50%, so that'll force the ranked-choice vote.

 

Thats basically how it would be in case of a tie, as each state gets one vote and that vote is made by a consensus of the Reps in that state

 

When is CNN gonna call AZ?

my only thought with CNN is maybe trying not to appear hypocritical? AZ still shows votes to count and CNN has spent the last hour doing nothing but railing on Trump for doing the exact same thing. i think it's pretty safe to call us though.

 

Unfortunately this thread is more up to date with the country than other places

Does anyone know what kind of votes are still remaining in North Carolina? If they're mail-in ballots, there's still a (longshot) chance that Biden/Cunningham could still win there. According to my rough math, they'd need 70% and 75% of them, respectively.
