Fingers crossed that Puerto Rico votes for statehood again this year so that we can include them in the push to also add DC next year should Dems win the presidency and the Senate.

Thread could use a good food argument for extra padding

I made muffins earlier, banana with banana slices added to the mix, only acceptable banana muffin. Banana nut muffins as a whole belong in the trash. With slices, the only better muffin is blueberry.

And chocolate chip muffins are wack, just make a cupcake.

 

I’m working til about 5 pacific, then a sprint home to shower, then the bar across the street to hopefully drink happily.

 

Always gotta go with Blueberry muffins or a coffee cake muffin (I don't know if that really counts lol)

My anxiety had me shotgunning a sleeve of Chips Ahoy at work. It was awful. I hate Chips Ahoy. A D-tier cookie.

 

Get some Oreos. Classic for a reason

 

I've found that microwaving them tricks your mouth into thinking you're eating a real cookie lmao

I watched that “The Game Changers” documentary on Netflix last week and have been attempting to go fully plant-based with my diet since. I feel a lot better and never disgustingly full after only four days. My energy level is way higher and even after a hard workout, I still have energy for work and everything else. Curious if anyone else in here has made a similar switch from meat based to plant based?


To respond to your muffin post, I quite like chocolate chip muffins lol. My favorite muffin is a strawberry muffin though. I also hate banana nut muffins!

I used to like soft chips ahoy when I was younger but I can’t eat them now. Either they altered the recipe, or younger me just didn’t care about the taste lol
