Give it the time of day! It's an incredible record.

 

I strongly urge you to change this ASAP. It’s heavier in some ways but if anything - you would probably dig It Never Ends.

 

There is a Hell is definitely my favorite album by BMTH, but I love everything they've done (aside from that experimental album thing they did)

 

Its on my list.

I've tried getting into There Is a Hell a few times, but it's just too heavy for me.

 

Same. Those songs translate well live but I think it’s Fish adding production and melody. Otherwise it’s just yelling and noise, but I suppose I could try it again.

Sempiternal is as heavy as I can get, and it’s a masterpiece for sure.

AMO is still probably my favorite. It is a great ALBUM. It flows and meanders and has feels. I also think SHIT and Heavy Metal are pantheon BMTH songs.

Saying all that, I think the reviews make it sound like the EP is gonna be the best of all worlds, and done as well as they can do it.

I need more time with Post Human: Survival Horror but I would possibly rank it in third place. It’s very good.

 

For me its There is a hell..., Amo, then Sempiternal. I don't really like their other albums that much, That's The Spirit has some songs I like.

I have very strong connections to TIAH and Suicide Season so I probably listen to those the most. I don’t think That’s The Spirit is very good in the slightest, outside of maybe Doomed.

3 and 4 go back and forth depending on how bad I wanna listen to my favorites/avoid my least favorites on each.

Best song is usually rotating between it never ends, visions, crucify, and doomed.

even with the rankings CYB is the only one I'd say I'm not super crazy about lol

 

If I could erase Football Season Is Over and Sleep With One Eye Open then Suicide Season would be much better.

Sempiternal would probably be their best album if the lyrics were not so angsty.

 

You definitely should give Crucify Me and It Never Ends a chance (those are probably my two favorites from their entire discography). Also The Sadness Will Never End and Suicide Season (the song) from Suicide Season are top tier BMTH songs imo. Sadness features Sam from Architects.

 

Football Season gets a pass because there's a feature from a singer who dared to name his band Deez Nuts

 

Actually finally reading the lyrics for the intro, oof nevermind

 

I will say it's gonna be funny for all the fans who are like "aw yea FINALLY they're back to being heavy!1!1!" when the remaining EP's lean back a bit more towards pop/electronic roots. Not that they'll forgo this style completely I don't think but pretty sure they said that this one specifically was gonna be the more aggressive/heavy one and the others are gonna have different feels.

 

I mean I love Amo so I am all in for some electronic/pop EPs

 

Yeah this is a consistent problem in their discog, but it's especially bad on SS.

 

Proven science that listening to Crucify Me in the gym allows you to bench 1000+ pounds.

 

Proven science for who? ...definitely not me lol.
