Frank released a visual album. The songs are specifically edited to accompany the video - they all fit the same mellow vibe. Album coming later - rumored to be this weekend. We assume it will have completely different songs on it.

 

There is a parallel universe somewhere where I have SWISH and Boys Don't Cry on loop.

 

My only problem is that when I have endless playing I can't minimize the window on my phone without it pausing because it's a video. I feel like there has got to be a way to resolve this issue. I'm trying to get caught up on the internet reaction. I'll watch vid later, but I want to listen.

 

Nevermind. Figured it out. Just swipe up from control center and hit play. Then it can stay minimized.

 

Feeling pretty let down by this unfortunately.

 

Gotta watch this when I get home.

 

This is really different than I expected but it's great.

 

Don't know how you can feel let down by something that's just in addition to an album you will still eventually get?

 

I mean I get that, and I'm still really hopeful for whatever we get this weekend. But this is still the first new Frank in 5 years and to not like it is really disappointing, for me at least. Glad others seem to be enjoying it!

i really like everything i've heard so far. i lost track but i think i'm maybe 5 or 6 songs in.

 

The songs fit the video perfectly as they were supposed to. You can't throw some banger behind Frank building a staircase. The songs on here were picked specifically to fit the vibe and I think it's pretty perfectly executed. The album will be something totally different.
