Right it’s been a while since I’ve upgraded my phone but I’ve had iPads in the intervening time. Is it better to set up a new phone from a backup, or just set it up as a new phone?

Sprint is only letting me pre-order the 12Pro right now, no ProMax. Hoping that pops up soon because they've got a killer deal going on for 12 Pros with a valid trade in.

 

Pro Max pre-order starts November 6th.

I don't know how to feel about the blue 12 in these videos, or the red. I'm probably going to end up going white. The blue 12 Pro looks phenomenal though.

 

The blue Pro is definitely the best. If only it was available in the same size as the Mini.

Anyone use widgets? Useful ones? I like the weather one, and maybe calendar. Haven't seen any others I found useful.

 

i'm constantly toying around with widgets, i feel like i won't be completely settled on a homescreen/page 1 or 2 until all the apps i use most have widgets out. waiting for MLB/NBA/Fantasy widgets so i can use The Athletic's widget and have a dedicated sports page, but right now on my front screen i have an alarms/fantastical widget stack, weather, photos, and activity, along with a handful of apps i use most frequently on a daily basis. i very rarely visit my 2nd screen which is another few rows of commonly used apps, just go right for the app drawer, so i may just can the 2nd page all together.

 

Who does Apple usually ship with? For me FedEx and UPS usually comes afternoon time, but USPS doesn't come til 6 or later.

 

pretty sure they are exclusively UPS

 

they ship both for me. my airpods are coming today via fedex.

 

I find widgets very useful on my phone and borderline useless on my iPad.

 

Pretty sure Me or my wife won’t be home on Friday to sign for my delivery when they normally deliver to my house. -_-

Idk if I can set a note for them to slide it under my garage or something.

 

They shipping with UPS? You can create a My Choice account for free and have it get delivered to a UPS store

 

Yeah I used to get packages held at my UPS facility and pick them up myself because they could never find my apartment and would mark them as undeliverable after a few days lol. Luckily it's only a 2 minute drive. Eventually got fed up and gave special permission to just leave in my buildings foyer and they seemed to get that
