  2. I made it through one minute.

I hate that super-processed drum editing where the kick drum loses all its beefiness and ends up sounding like a click.

I get that he is the third bassist, but Robert is in the video for about 8 seconds total.

Also this song is pretty bad ass, didn't expect to like a modern day Metallica song yet here we are..

Memories are nice, but that's all they are. Prestigious

Lars is consistently the worst part of all newer Metallica songs.

    hmmm

Me too, it really distracts from the rest of the song (which I like otherwise).

    Might be Spider-Man...

Metallica were the first band I ever liked, so, Im always gonna have a soft spot for them. I dig this, and the production more than Death Magnetic already.

Curious about the track lengths. DM was a huge step in the right direction and I'm hoping to like new Metallica again.

    Aaaachem!

That kick is the absolute worst. So it's a 12 song double album with 3 minute track(s)?

"ManUnKind" has to be the most Metallica song title ever.

I listened to Death Magnetic for the first time in a few years the other day and I forgot how bad it sounds. The songs are pretty good for the most part, but it sounds like shit.

Despite all the hate Lars is getting, nobody can deny that this song (and album hopefully) is getting back to the origins of Metallica and what made them them so kickass. I am excited to hear more!

The fact that it's going to be a double album makes me less excited.

When it's mix and mastered by the people behind "Californication," that's no surprise.

I'll def be giving this one a spin. I enjoyed Death Magnetic enough.
