I love the in-game suggestion of what tasks to complete, and hints of how to do so. Fuck that's cool.

 

I hope most games pick this up and it’s not just first party and whoever can be arsed

Alright, I lurk here enough to decide to throw my hat in here and ask a tad bit of advice. I normally game on PS4 and my fiancé has a switch, well I bought myself a Switch Lite so we don’t have to fight over hers. I’ve played a few Switch games including Bayonetta 1/2, Golf Story, Stardew Valley. I was looking at either getting Witcher 3, Skyrim or Dragons Dogma to have an RPG fix. Has anyone played these on switch? Any thoughts? Also any other games to recommend? We have Animal Crossing, Paper Mario, 3-D All Stars already, but always open to other games. Thanks!

Katana Zero, Good Job, Celeste, Cuphead if you can handle the rage

 

I keep hearing good things about this game, what is the gameplay like?

I tried Minecraft on the PS4 ages ago and couldn’t get into it. Celeste looks good, but how difficult is it. I will say I get super annoyed with difficult games so Cuphead probably won’t work for me LOL.

I was also considering Two Point Hospital. I’m just trying to enjoy some games and the suggestions are great so far!

 

Celeste can be difficult. And Cuphead. Woof that’s tough. But both have gorgeous art and that’s why I got them. Though yeah - probably best to pass then haha.

Katana Zero and Carrion are my favs on Switch currently.

 

@Emokid9963 The combat is very similar to X-Com where you move players across a grid like system to gain advantage. There’s perma death, but can be turned off. Then there’s a lot of RPG elements/statistics. You level up your party members, and can change their class/weapon load out. Then there’s a “school” aspect where you can interact with each other on the off days. Doing a bunch of activities to upgrade bonds/skills.
